K.I.S.S. aka Keep It Simple Stupid

I took an unintentional blog break. I've been quietly working and tweaking things in the background on the blog. I've removed the google friend connect, as it is an app that google is phasing out in favor of google+. I added a subscribe by email option via feedburner. And there is still the rss feed. I am trying to keep things as simple as possible with side column gadgets.

I've taken down a few pages, Scholar's Rock in particular. I am finishing up that WIP and beginning work on another project. I don't have a publication date for Scholar's Rock yet, as soon as I do I will announce it.

Lots going on behind the scenes. One big project, one small project, one very secret project, and several works in progress. 2012 will be busy. My main goal for 2012 is to work smarter, not harder. So, even though I've got a large, very full plate-- I am hoping to work through it with some wisdom.

I've been doing more research on entrepreneurial aspects of publishing. And I've been following all the news and kerfuffles happening in the industry. I'll post my thoughts on some of these in the coming days.

In the meantime, there is a free read over at West Thornhill's blog. She is back with Spectral Surprise. Go read.
