Win a Kindle and Other News

For a Sunday, it's pretty busy on the interwebs. I've been writing all day, taking breaks occasionally to visit with friends on twitter and Facebook. Keeping up with all the blogs I read, and making adjustments to The Ravens Crossing with our Graphic Designer. Our development at TRC has come up with some fun interactive games for TRC and talks are under way for a really cool project that I can't reveal yet. As soon as I can, I will share it.

All of this leads me to reminding people that we are giving away a Kindle Touch Wi-Fi this week at The Ravens Crossing. So go over there and check out how to win!

Interesting news of the day is another flash-fiction project for charity. A whole bunch of sci-fi writers, including Neil Gaiman, Lev Grossman, Scott Westerfeld, Michael Moorcock, Gene Wolfe, N.K Jemisin, IO9 contributing editor Ann VanderMeer, and tons more. Check out Shared Worlds 2012. (via Cory Doctorow at Boing Boing)

Great minds think alike! And all for good causes.

Which brings me to TRC's favorite non-profit The Make it Safe Project. Please check it out and consider giving a donation to a small organization which provides books to the YA LGBT community.

And tomorrow the stories begin at The Ravens Crossing, as well as your first chance in six to enter to win a Kindle!
